Flowers, Spiders, Sunsets & a few extras this week…
This week Jeff and I went on a hike to see all the wonderful wildflowers,that are in bloom up Little Cottonwood Canyon. At the top is Albion Basin in the Wasatch National Forest. There was plenty of flowers ready to model for us!
Jeff captured a sunset on night out in the little town of Eureka, Utah. An old mining town. It looks like the cemetery stepped up to be center stage for his sunset backdrops.
We also went out to go to the Great Salt Lake State Park and Marina to see what might catch our eye to shoot. And we were NOT pleasantly surprised to find, 100’s of thousands…creepy, crawly, eight-leg web spinning spiders. Western spotted orb-weavers, that are great for the eco-system. So we do what we do and we snapped our shutters and took lots of photos of the little guys. They were very photogenic.
